MEET OUR EMERGING LEADER AWARD WINNER FOR 2019 WISE Charitable Trust has been a proud supporter of the Waitara High School Senior Prize giving for many years, providing financial scholarships to students who have gone above and beyond in their school and community. In 2019, the Trust introduced the Emerging Leader, Emerging Tradie and the Tū Tangata Taiohi o Whaitara awards. For the Emerging Leader award, the Trust looked at someone that demonstrated great leadership by building self-confidence and strengthening self-believe in others. The inaugural Emerging Leader winner for 2019 is Ruby Hutchieson. Ruby has bee n an outstanding role model for younger students at the school and to her peers. She is a very dedicated and motivated individual not only in the classroom but also on the sports field.
